I am originally from upstate NY. I graduated from Houghton College in 2002, with a major in accounting and a minor in French. I have always loved language and business. I’m the guy who loved reading literature yet also came up with 1000 new ways to make money each day. I consider myself an “idea guy.”
After college, I worked at Deloitte for five years as a financial, IT auditor, and later as an internal audit consultant. My goal was to learn as much about business as possible with the hopes of later using my background to help me fulfill my entrepreneurial dreams. I accomplished that goal examining the ins and outs of more businesses than I can remember. I eventually left Deloitte to start and run a boutique internal audit consulting firm focused on small to medium cap public companies.
In late 2012, I had to make a difficult decision to move on from a well paying and stable career, and pursue my passion for writing and entrepreneurship. Although it has been full of challenges, the rewards have made it incredibly worthwhile.
I am currently a partner in Evermore, a company dedicated to making amazingly beautiful, high quality WordPress sites affordable for small businesses that need them the most. I am also working as a marketing consultant in Atlanta, helping clients develop content and manage their client relationships.
I live in Atlanta and in my free time, I enjoy writing, reading, painting, and hiking. I attend Trinity Anglican Mission in Atlanta, and will be forever grateful for the amazing community I walked right into.
